Blasthook Gunship (28mm)

Hi all! Warning: The files appear to be somewhat compact. All STLs must be printed at 120% scale for a more realistic size. I've been searching for a proxy for quite some time now, and I finally decided to create my own: BlastHook is its name. It was designed entirely freehand, based solely on visual references. It still has some differences. Most of the model was crafted using Meshmixer, and I borrowed certain parts from other designs (engine intake, missile launchers, space marine...). The model should be correctly scaled for 28mm, as a 28mm soldier is placed inside. Features: - The engines can rotate vertically. - The front autocannon can rotate horizontally. - Side weapons could be modified if needed. - I designed an internal cockpit detail with a 2nd edition Space marine inside (thanks, Garin). - The tail features a retractable landing pad inside. - A 6mm hole is located under the main hull for base attachment. In general, it's relatively easy to print, but some parts require supports (only from the print bed). Choose orientations wisely. Assembly is straightforward; on the body assembly, I included square locating pins that will help position parts together. The canopy is tricky to print. I printed mine by unfolding the part, folding the different faces, and gluing them in small spots. It requires a transparent plastic sheet for a glass-like effect. Sorry about the large file sizes; I'm not very efficient with Meshmixer, and meshes tend to be dense. I had a great time working on this gunship, and the result is worth the effort put into it.
