October 2018 - Update Time Has Passed! The latest print attempts show that it actually printed, but the look is still not quite what I had in mind. The upper section where it joins the back of the Stryfe doesn't match up as intended, so I'll need to make some adjustments. Also, the lower section leaves a noticeable gap between the grip and the base of the stock attachment end, so I'm working on fixing that issue too. Stay tuned for more updates - if you're interested in this sort of thing! New files will be Version 2 ______________________________________________________________________ I loved the look of the original Stock by BlasterforgePH (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2281344) but unfortunately, it wouldn't fit on my printer (FF Creator Pro). I considered cutting it in half, then stumbled upon this alternative (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2545799). "Perfect," I thought - "that saves me some effort." However, I'm not a fan of just gluing parts together and hoping they'll hold up, so I opted to remix the remix instead. I took SpeedRicky54's remixed design and added cutouts in both halves along with corresponding pegs to ensure they fit together correctly. It hasn't been printed yet, so I don't know if the tolerances are too tight or not - but I'll update you with more info and pics when I give it a shot. Stay tuned!
