I required a connector to link my Stanley 1-1/2-inch vacuum hose to my shop vacuum blast gates. This enables me to accomplish that easily. It fits snugly inside the 4-inch input of the blast gates. I bonded it in place permanently once I had completed the installation. The 1-1/2-inch inlet should accommodate most standard 1-1/2-inch hoses without any issues.
