This is a remix of my 2½" female to female blast gate (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4205443) except this blast gate attaches a 2" PVC Schedule 40 pipe fitting directly to a standard 2½" dust hose connector. The gate slides seamlessly through the encasing assembly, eliminating any potential recesses that could trap dust and hinder operation. It is held securely in place with either M5 or #10 bolts. No support is required during printing. To simplify the process of creating your own customized adapter for your specific needs, I have provided a detailed schematic that outlines the necessary dimensions to design a custom fitting that will perfectly mate with the other components of this simple blast gate design.
