Blank Wax Stamp

This is a versatile base that allows you to subtract your own design. The result will be a functional wax seal that can be used to close letters, invitations, and any other item you prefer. Wax sticks are available on the market which you can use with this, as normal candle wax is prone to breakage. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator Mini+ Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 10% Post-Printing How I Created This Background I designed this in Microsoft's 3D Builder after becoming interested in creating and using my own wax seal. Usage Once you download the file, you will need a file of the design that you would like on the seal. You may choose the format, but know that this 2D file will need to be converted to a 3D file later on. When you have the 3D file, import it into the software that you are using and scale the design to the blank template. Subtract the design from the template, making sure the top of the design is on the same side as the nub on the blank stamp. This way you will know which direction is up. Print, get some wax, and start stamping. Directions for use: http://www.artofmanliness.com/2013/02/13/wax-seals-a-history-and-how-to/
