Here is a folding fan in its initial stages. The design of the mechanism that holds the blades together is intended for use with 9, 10, 11, or 12 blades respectively. After printing however many blades you prefer, you should be able to secure them using the pivot designed specifically for your chosen number of blades. A single drop of glue applied to the pivot shaft and the corresponding indent on the second component should suffice. Please share any experience you have with printing these parts as I haven't had a chance to do so myself.
