*DISCLAIMER*: I strongly advise you to use realism responsibly when cosplaying with this particular prop, as the Gambol Shroud's design closely resembles a Glock 19 semi-automatic pistol. Depending on your state's laws, aiming or brandishing anything that resembles a firearm may be considered illegal and could result in injury or death. Please note that making this prop for yourself requires applying an orange plug or tape to the muzzle of the barrel to indicate it's not a real gun when cosplaying. With that said... Unfortunately, this version of the Gambol Shroud isn't designed to fold. This build was created in a rush as a last-minute birthday present and was modeled in Fusion 360 within two hours. I intentionally designed a hole down the center to accommodate a rod that would be sandwiched between two EVA foam halves for added stability to the blade. If given more time, I would have designed and printed the blade with folding mechanisms and hinges, as well as constructed the sheathe. This build may be revisited in the future to make the necessary changes. To ensure successful printing, please print all three parts with supports and brims. Happy building and stay safe.
