Bladeless Fan

Bladeless Fan

Bladeless fan similar to Dyson ones found in stores. The fan itself is housed in the base, compressing air into a ring. It's also known as an Air multiplier fan. In this version, I used a 12v 90mm radial fan as the motor, removing the original blades and housing to fit inside the motor holder.stl. A simple 12v PWM motor speed controller from eBay was added for control. A DC socket on the back provides an incoming 12v power supply. It's up to you to find a suitable 12v power source. Most parts require supports, but only minor ones are necessary, and usually an angle of 80 degrees is sufficient. The inner and outer rings are secured with glue (I used silicon sealant for this), and the cone is also attached to the outer ring using silicone sealant to prevent air loss. The lower parts clip together, eliminating the need for additional glue.
