This little tool will help you to snap off the dull piece of segmented knife blade. The tool is hollow and will safely collect the used blades and you can throw out the hole tool when it is full. There are two sizes, with 12mm and 27mm wide slots for the small and large blades. The larger one will work for small blades as well so you need the larger one printed if you want. I keep the small one at my hobby desk and the large one in my tool box. It is best to print in the horizontal orientation so that it is in the strongest orientation for snapping the blades. Only the tip portion is modeled as solid so use at least 30% infill to make the tip stout enough. The walls are 1.2mm thick to get a decent 3-layer wall if printing at 0.4mm widths. Depending on the accuracy of your printer, the slot for the blade may be a bit tight and you will have to make sure the used blade is pushed all the way in to the tool, with the help of your knife blade. The thickness of the slot is 0.8mm and 1.0mm for the small and large sizes respectively. Warning!!! It is possible that the used blades stored in the tool may fall out when it is shaked a lot and/or when there are lots of blades inside. Please be cautious using sharp knife blades!
