I've always been fascinated by Keith's battle-worn sword from Voltron: Legendary Defenders. As soon as I started watching the show, he became my favorite character, and his sword was what really caught my eye - it looked super cool and like a blast to recreate in 3D. After building a low-res model of the sword using Maya, I brought it into ZBrush where I added some intricate details like the Marmora symbol on the hilt and blade. From there, it was all about bringing the sword to life with color inside Substance Painter - being able to add an emissive material really made this project shine, and I'm thrilled with how it turned out.
