Blade 300X Custom Tail Fin V.01
thingiverse
In my recent flight, I misjudged orientation in a dark sky, resulting in a broken 300x tail fin from my first design. Despite imperfections, it serves its purpose well. My local hobby store is Time Flys (http://timeflyshobbytown.com). RC experience led me to 3D printing. I print with MakerGeeks Ultra PLA at medium speed using .3 mm layers, featuring two solid bottom layers, 2 layers with 20% infill, 2 solid top layers, and one layer for text. Printing takes about 10 minutes per item, or 30 minutes for a tray of three. However, there are slight gaps around the top loop, which was best filled using a 5-degree angle on rectilinear fill.
