I recently acquired a carbon fiber landing skid plate for my Blade 230s. I purchased a set of aluminum and carbon fiber skids from Lynx, along with a replacement set of plates. Feeling uninspired today, I decided to create a block to store the spare parts and installed them on my other helicopter. The new setup looks impressive to me. Complete kits can be bought for around $25.00, while just the skids cost $13.00.
