Lately I've been drawn into creating games and as a result, I decided to give making assets a try. To start off, I chose to focus on the low poly hand-painted technique because it's a style that really captivates me. Since this was my first time working with this kind of content, I opted for using just Blender and Photoshop while also learning how to utilize Substance Painter, which turned out to be an incredibly fun experience. I had to redo some things along the way mostly due to being unfamiliar with the tool but I was thrilled with the outcome. For this piece, I selected a concept from Haejoo, a 2D artist I highly admire, and used Grant Abbitt's tutorials to learn how to effectively use the Texture Paint tools in Blender.
