A Two-Week School Project Takes Shape. The entire project was sculpted from the ground up using Mudbox, a digital sculpting tool that allows for intricate detail and texture. Once the initial form was established, the model underwent a rigorous retopology process within Maya to optimize its geometry and prepare it for further refinement. To ensure maximum realism, Xnormals were baked into the scene, adding depth and dimensionality to the surface of the object. Finally, the textures were applied using Substance Painter, with additional enhancements made in Photoshop to achieve a seamless blend of colors and shading that brings the entire piece to life.
