This is a protective cover/shade for the 5-inch Blackmagic Design Video Assist external display/recorder monitor. It attaches to the top-center 1/4-20 screw hole on the device. The cover stands three inches tall at its highest point, gradually tapering downward to allow easy access to the touchscreen interface and sits flush with the outer edge of the Video Assist's frame.
