I'm still refining this project.\r\n\r\nRecently, I purchased a Black Omivore holster for my Sig SP2022 and attached it to my battle belt with MOLLE. While I'm very impressed with the holster's performance, it sits slightly too high on me. There is already an adapter available from Blackhawk to Safariland, but no mid-to-low ride MOLLE mounts exist for it. This design should work with any standard Blackhawk mount.\r\n\r\nMy goals for this project are clear.\r\n\r\n-Drop the holster to a mid/low ride height \r\n- Cant the holster forward\r\n-Allow easy removal of the holster from the belt\r\n-Allow the use of a leg strap\r\n-Make it strong enough to withstand duty use.\r\n\r\nThis design still requires significant work, but it's functional. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Personally, I wouldn't trust this design with my pistol in a SHTF scenario just yet (lots more testing is needed once it's refined further).\r\n\r\nKnown issues exist.\r\n-Leg strap placement is incorrect\r\n-Modify to allow for wider leg strap (currently only 1 inch)\r\n-Print caps to cover screws near release button\r\n-Field test for strength\r\n-Skeletonize for decreased print time/filament use\r\n-Text needs improvement/ Make it look nicer\r\n\r\nMore revisions are on the way. Try it out and give me feedback!
