Blackburn light adapter for Dahon bike handlebars
myminifactory
This is a front light holder for a Blackburn Super Flea that fits onto any standard Dahon handle bar or other similar handlebars measuring 0.8" up to 1" in diameter. The two semicircular clamps are printed facing downwards while the light adapter should be printed with its wide flat side at the bottom. To ensure durability, print this part using a fine resolution. You will also need several additional parts to complete this build: a thick paper clip or similar steel rod of 0.08" diameter, a #8 machine screw that is 1" long or longer with nut or similar sized nut and bolt, and a small countersunk screw at least 0.5" in length. Instructions: 1) Print the required parts. 2) Clean up the printed parts using suitable hand tools. 3) Cut a piece of steel rod (0.8" diameter) to a length of exactly 0.5". 4) Assemble the hinged joint, using the steel from step 3 as the hinge pin. 5) Use the small countersunk screw to attach the final printed part to the assembly as shown in the pictures. 6) Make any necessary adjustments with small hand tools to ensure a proper fit of all parts. 7) Mount this front light holder on your handlebar.
