BlackBurn Flea - Reverb Helmet Mount
thingiverse
I designed a helmet light mount specifically for my Giro Reverb Helmet after discovering that adding a light enhances visibility. Unfortunately, the Flea does not have a mount compatible with my helmet model, so I created a new mount to address this issue. The design features an easy-to-install and remove mechanism, as well as simplified light removal for recharging. I discovered a valuable resource on http://3dprint.proto-lounge.com/2015/10/blackburn-helmet-light-mount.html that showcases more about the project. To print this helmet light mount, use the following settings: - Rafts: Use Yes - Supports: It doesn't matter - Resolution: Medium resolution works well - Infill: 100% is a good choice Notes: I printed my mount on a LulzBot Mini using HIPS. To achieve the best results, set the medium profile with the temperature lowered to 230C and each layer taking 40 seconds to print. If you want to avoid printing supports for the Flea channel, rotate the light mounty by 90 degrees on the Y-axis.
