This is a custom 3D design for the Blackbolt XBR220 racing quadcopter frame. Here is the story of how I designed this custom quadcopter frame: As an experienced maker, I wanted to create a racing quadcopter frame that would stand out from the crowd. The Blackbolt XBR220 caught my eye due to its sleek design and potential for high-speed flight. However, I knew that a custom 3D printed frame could take this quadcopter to the next level. I began by designing the frame's lightweight and durable structure. I incorporated features such as camera protectors, VTX mounts, and connector protectors to ensure that the quadcopter would be both functional and protected from damage. Using my knowledge of 3D printing, I carefully selected the print settings for the MakerBot Replicator 2. I chose a resolution of 0.2mm to achieve precise details, and set the infill at 25% to balance weight reduction with structural integrity. The result is a custom 3D design that perfectly complements the Blackbolt XBR220 racing quadcopter frame. With its advanced features and optimized print settings, this quadcopter is ready to take on even the most challenging racing courses.
