This product's model, based on the Black widow spider (Latrodectus mactans), is compatible with Cinema 4D v16 and up. The model is designed using Corona render, but materials for advanced rendering are also provided. Featuring anatomically accurate details, full rigging, animation, and texturing, this model allows for intuitive interaction via a visual selector. The rigging system utilizes custom components within a powerful Character object, with separate deformation joints for shadow hierarchy. Animation is parametrically created using CMotion objects, allowing for easy tweaking of timing, amplitude, phase offsets, and path specification for the walk animation. Keyframe animation is also possible by disabling the Cmotion object. As a bonus, the model includes a character template file (kinetic_insectRig.c4d), enabling users to adjust proportions, create rigs for different spider types, and rig various crawling creatures.
