This was crafted after a warning about potential issues with heated beds following a recall from Wanhoe. The edges of the tension springs that support the heated bed scratch into the heated bed coating from underneath, causing an arc when the positive from the bed connects to the spring and unit's ground and has a high potential for fires. This spacer was designed with two purposes in mind. Protect the bed from being damaged by the spring and align the spring for better tension and less bed shake when printing intricate parts. Four spacers are required to be printed. UPDATE: 12/10/2016 I created an HD version of the bed washer due to the fact that when printing PETG and ABS, the original washer would flex a bit as they were originally printed in PLA. This issue could have been avoided if they were printed with ABS instead. I still use a mix of the original and HD versions. The HD bed washer has been optimized for use with .4 and .8mm nozzles.
