Black Snapper 3D-Gimbal for GoPro Hero3+

This is a custom 3D gimbal designed specifically for the Black Snapper, capable of securely holding a GoPro Hero3 camera in place while utilizing small Emax 1806 450kv motors for optimal performance. As the primary control unit, I utilize the Storm32 controller from Banggood, ensuring seamless integration with the gimbal's system. The MPU is perfectly aligned at the backside of the GoPro mount, enhancing overall stability and precision. To prevent image distortion caused by camera shake, I've implemented a protective lens for the GoPro, allowing users to attach a Neutral Density (ND) filter as needed to eliminate "jello" effects. One notable feature of this gimbal design is a strategically placed hole in arm_2, providing easy access for cables without disrupting the system's integrity. Although I didn't initially route the cables through this opening, it serves as a convenient solution for future modifications or upgrades, eliminating the need to constantly unplug the controller board.
