Black Seas Storage and Basing System
thingiverse
I've been struggling with how best to store my Warlord Games Black Seas collection. I finally decided the best way to accomplish this was to base my ships and then create a storage system that would have tracks to hold the bases securely. Also, after finally getting a chance to play, I determined that as pretty as the ships look, they are a little delicate and having bases would make handling them easier. The bases are a remix from somebody's 120mm x 40mm wave base. Unfortunately, I cannot find it again so I can't give the proper credit to the original creator. All I did was cut out different sizes and then flatten out the hull areas so the ship sits "in" the water. I printed the bases using .20mm resolution. The storage is completely my design. I cut out the ovals in the interest of saving printing time and plastic. I printed the storage at .30mm resolution.
