I sculpted this Black Forest themed tankard in Virtual Reality, pushing our GDC Beer Bust Challenge 2018 to new heights. After completing the design process in Oculus Medium, I took my creation into Cinema4D to perform polyreduction and UV editing with precision. To further enhance Polycount and topology, I made several LOD passes in Symplygon before importing the mesh into Substance Painter. This is where the model received its final touches and came to life with textures and lighting.
