I redesigned valknut's coworker to be less tense on the printing settings and avoid breaking as quickly. The well-known "Black&Decker Workmate" workbenches do feature plastic foot springs that break after many years of usage. These springs are not available as a replacement part, so the best approach is to reprint them in a 3D printer. The difference between my springs and the original ones: The curve is more rounded, which lowers stress on the printed part. Also, the lower section is enlarged to be more stable. You will need support enabled. I would recommend using PETG, but if you have PLA filament that is not too brittle (Some colors break quicker than others) and your workbench is not exposed to direct sunlight too much, it may also work well. Use Infill and Top/Lower Pattern as Concentric, which gives a bit more flexibility. I also applied a small amount of PTFE grease after installation. It works great.
