My cedar hedge was too tall.. and my Black&Decker trimmer too short. So, I extended it. Electric trigger still works. You will need: -aluminum pole. (I used 21.2mm OD pole. I can create STL with other OD size if needed) -electrical connectors that fits. I made them myself but you can buy some at the store -Wires: At least 12gauge -35mm M4 screw with nut Instructions: 1-Insert the male printed adapter on the pole. It first tight and I had to smack it on the ground untit it reaches the bottom of the adapter. 2-solder your 2 wires on the 2 female electric connectors, and Insert your 2 female connectors in the 2 holes of the male adapter. the Then you have to make sure the wire is about 2-3cm longer than the aluminum pole. 3-insert the male printed adapter on the pole 4-Connect the 2 male electric connectors to the battery side of the trimmer.(first identify your wires for + and -) 5-screw the adapter on the B&D battery side 6-screw on the trimmer head on the male adapter. 7-align the tool and the battery side, then mark the holes with a punch on each side of the aluminum pole. 8-drill through the poles (you might want to remove the wires so you dont drill them) with a drill bit that is is bit bigger than the m4 screw) 9-assemble again and enjoy trimming
