Black Bee 115 Micro FPV frame

Update 6/12/2019 - I've been flying less than usual, but I recently realized I hadn't posted my updated top yet. With my 1.8 lens, I was seeing too much of the frame in camera, so I edited it to have better visibility and still be protected. The V3 top works with the V2 bottom. Enjoy! Update - 13/03/2018: V2 Released! I've updated the frame with more supports where I used to get a lot of breaks. I've also added a location for an optional front-mounted micro camera. This is handy if you want to mount one of the new micro HD action cams on top or explore inverting the quad inverted. The FPV camera must be small and planned accordingly, or else it will be in the propellers' path. I've included the cam mounts that I'm using for my Foxxer Arrow Micro V2 - they work perfectly in TPU. Also, please note that I've found out on a micro quad like this you need to reverse your motor orientation (aka Clean Air Mod) for the quad to fly its best. Don't ask me why it works so well, but it does! The Taulman 910 Alloy holds up well to crashes, but I'm currently flying a PC-Max (Polycarbonate blend) frame and it seems to be holding up even better. I wanted a fully enclosed quad to do proximity and fly without worrying about breaking it every other flight. I also wanted to push the boundaries of weight. The Black Bee 115 is what I came up with - inspired by the T4b's Green Bee 110, and using the canopy from that design to fit my Black Bee. I enlarged the frame by 5mm just to offer a crashproof cushion. This thing is a blast to fly! With 1304 4000kv motors, 3" props, and a small 3s battery, it's fast, nimble, and crashable! Print it in 910 Alloy to make it virtually unbreakable. ABS would be another decent choice. Print Settings: Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .24 Infill: 70 Filament: Polymaker PC-Max Notes: I prefer printing this in PC-Max because it's very strong and withstands crashes much better.
