I'm building a compact drill press using an old Black and Decker D1000 Drill, but this drill lacks a mounting mechanism, so I created these brackets to address that issue. To accommodate different projects, I designed two distinct versions with varying mounting options. Print Settings: Printer: Flashforge Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.20mm Infill: %50 Designing This Project To capture the drill housing's profile, I employed a technique similar to tracing molding, using an index card as a template. Next, I took a picture of the tracing and imported it into SketchUp, where I scaled the image to match the dimensions of the drill housing.
