BL-5C Battery USB Charger
thingiverse
I designed a compact USB phone charger for my wife and here's what I came up with. Using TinkerCad, I created the model (thanks to TinkerCad.com!). I estimate the cost was around $16-$17, plus filament, which isn't bad at all. The charge controller board and USB output board simply snap into place and are secured with hot glue. The batteries were also glued in with hot glue for added stability. I reused a rocker switch that came from a power tool that stopped working, so it's standard size, but should fit perfectly.
