This engine mount is specifically designed for transforming your Hobbyking Bixler 2 into a powerful twin-engined aircraft. Its bolt pattern is perfectly suited for a standard 28mm outrunner motor, allowing you to optimize performance with ease. The motor is cleverly positioned at a 3-degree downward angle, resulting in the wing tilting an additional 0.5 degrees due to the positive angle of incidence of the wing's design. To maximize its strength and stability, we highly recommend printing it with a robust 100% infill. Although this will add only a minor 2 grams compared to using a less dense 40% infill, the end result will be significantly stronger and more durable. For precise alignment, simply rotate the part 3 degrees on the X-axis in your Repetier settings, ensuring it sits flat on the printer bed. Once in position, carefully mount the motor and secure it firmly to the wing using a reliable CA adhesive.
