Bit Holders for Milwaukee Slim Packout
thingiverse
I designed these bit holders to work seamlessly with my Slim Packout Bins for Milwaukee bit holders, but they also function perfectly in the original Milwaukee bit cases. I have provided STL files for both the long and short bit holders. You can also customize the holder using Customizer to fine-tune the fit of the bit, number of slots, and size of the holder. These holders and the bins I linked to above serve as a superior alternative to this thing: Bit Index for Milwaukee Packout Low Profile Organizers. The new design holds bits more firmly, and I will no longer be supporting the outdated model. **Updated 20121202:** A major update for Version 2 has been implemented. The holders are now designed to be printed on the back side with minimal support required as long as your printer is calibrated well enough to bridge a 7mm gap. Refer to the second and third photos, where the upper holder in each photo represents the newer design. The long bit holders now securely grasp the bit in the divot, reducing stress on the spring. I've also adjusted the spring to make it easier to remove bits from the holders. If you use customizer, you can print labels directly onto the large bit holders, as shown in photo 4.
