Bit holder for Makita impact driver
thingiverse
Remix of scarou's version since my masonry bit stuck up too much. I wanted to have it out of the way and not poke me so I added this bit underneath. Also, I closed off the hex shapes as I found that pulling the bits out to the side can cause the plastic to break depending on the material used. His hex holes were also too small for my bits so I have slightly larger sizes on this one, still tight enough for a secure hold on the bits though. Optional magnet version to glue 60mmx10mmx5mm bar magnet on bottom. You can either get the 5mm or 3mm thick version, both work fine although the 5mm gives slightly more resistance to pulling the bits out (3mm is still strong enough to ensure the bits won't fall out though). Print this one upright. 3rd version you glue 10mmx3mm round magnets to the bottom of the hex. Can still also glue a bar magnet on bottom. Screw is m4x12.
