Bit Chip V2 (Beyblade Part)
thingiverse
An updated version of the original Bit Chip file by Mcup2 was created, which I drew inspiration from after receiving my first official plastic Gen Beyblade. The primary change made was adjusting the size slightly. This new design is thicker and shorter than before, making it easier to insert while reducing wiggling when attached to official Beys. However, this version won't fit on previous attack ring models due to smaller slots that can be damaged if attempted to be used without modification. Several photos are included for comparison of the three different types of Bit Chips I possess. The white one is a print of Mcup2's model, the red one is an official Chip, and the yellow one represents this updated version. I only recently realized that Mcup2 made an update to his original file, but it appears that version would be too short to remain in place. Additionally, the ring atop Mcup2's second version is unusually tall. Bit Chips serve purely cosmetic purposes for Beyblades. They do not have a direct function and Beys operate perfectly without them. Nevertheless, they almost always complement the appearance of a Beyblade. A Bit Chip can be inserted between two tabs at the top of the Beyblade, fitting directly at its center. It simply snaps into place, though it can be slid slightly into one of the slots inside the tabs to reduce the necessary force for this action.
