Bit Bracelet
thingiverse
I conceptualized a wearable wrist device multi-tool accessory, influenced by the Leatherman Tread. After discovering the braceletool on thingiverse.com (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:654937), I wanted something similar but thinner, to fit the Leatherman pieces. The bits are available on Amazon (compatible with standard hex bit drivers) http://www.amazon.com/Leatherman-931014-40-Bit-Assortment-Drivers/dp/B003E1QPZG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1426053271&sr=8-1&keywords=leatherman+bits. I used 2-56 screws to assemble the links, and you can use a nut on the opposite side; instead, I employed these brass threaded heat inserts from McMaster-Carr: http://www.mcmaster.com/#catalog/121/3303/=w9apfw. Alternatively, you can print just a few of the links and attach it as a keychain if desired. Also, there's a larger model that accommodates full-size hex bits (print at your own risk); a brief demonstration of the wrist device in action is shown here: https://youtu.be/XqmEkKmc3n0
