A Fresh Approach to Bistable Compliant Switch Design. The Original Was Built With Stronger, More Flexible Polypropylene in Mind, But It Tends to Self-Destruct Rapidly When Printed in PLA. To Mitigate This Issue, I Replaced Both Solid Hinges with a Spring Element, Effectively Reducing the Forces That Overwork the Pivot Point. Additionally, I Simplified the Design and Minimized Non-Functional Material, Resulting in Faster Print Times and Reduced Waste.
