This scan, carried out by the Idaho Virtualization Lab at the Idaho Museum of Natural History, is of an ancient Bison latifrons skull owned by the Bureau of Reclamation. The cranium and horn cores, named Junior, were scanned to life-size specifications, so please adjust (by about 5-6%) when 3D printing. The specimen, a prized possession of the Bureau of Reclamation, was part of an extensive Bison latifrons 3D scanning project designed to bring fossils into the public domain virtually.
