The Bismarck Tower in Jena, Thuringia stands tall on the Malakoff at an impressive 329 meters above sea level. Its design is credited to Wilhelm Kreis, a renowned architect who poured his heart and soul into this majestic structure. The tower itself measures a remarkable 21 meters high, its foundation built from sturdy Muschelkalkstone. Groundbreaking took place on May 10, 1906, while the official inauguration occurred on July 5, 1909.
