Inspired by the classic tale of a British nobleman infamous for forgetting to pass the port, this table setting brings back traditional rituals through a drink quintessentially British. It honors the tradition with its purpose - encouraging users to drink their port and pass the decanter around. Elaborate designs ensure port glasses and decanters can't be placed on tables unless within individual brass bases, so the port flows continuously as it's passed and shared. A long wooden tray brings everything together, turning this entire creation into a central grand piece. Ebony finish contrasts with brass' brushed sheen, revealing an attractive sculptural form when elements are displayed alongside each other. The "Bishop of Norwich" set is now part of the permanent Shanghai Museum of Glass collection.
