One of two statues of Early Bishops on the West Front of Rochester Cathedral. A small mural brass plate on the west wall of the North Nave Aisle signed by T. Pratt & Sons, London, records: ‘The Statues Of Bishops Gundulph / and John Of Canterbury / On The Western Front of The Cathedral / Were Erected By The Freemasons Of / The County Of Kent 1894.’ *Object photographed from ground-level.
