The humble cup, an age-old tool, has been perfected centuries ago and remained unchanged since. However, recent trends demand a more versatile container. Many baked goods are designed for heating over hot liquids in cups, utilizing the natural heat source provided by steam. Nonetheless, these foods must be sized appropriately to avoid falling into the cup. Additionally, one must exercise caution while heating, as excessive warmth may cause the food to crumble and plunge into the cup. My innovative design features a mug with a removable tray that accommodates foods of all sizes for safe heating above hot liquids. This tray serves dual purposes: its slits allow hot air passage while enabling liquid flow, preventing ice from spilling when enjoying a chilled beverage.
