biscuit-slot-extension-clamp
thingiverse
An extendable low-profile hold down clamp designed for a #20 biscuit joiner slot. It allows the user to hold the workpiece firmly to the spoil board without obstructing the top of the workpiece. Of course, you need to have a biscuit joiner/plate joiner or a comparable jig on your router table to cut the appropriate biscuit slot into the side of the wood piece. This clamp has a slider assembly that is extendable so that on a CNC router the workpiece can be held from side where the biscuit slot is not as easily accessible. The slider assembly is NOT 3d printed, but milled from phenolic or aluminum. My prototype slider assemblies are cut from 3/8 ths inch thick phenolic. The clamp body is 3D printed using PLA at 100% infill. I have a short youtube video that talks about this at - https://youtu.be/0oE94BrIEes.
