SCENE INFORMATION The scene measures 50 x 50 kilometers in size. This model incorporates OpenStreetMap data. The scene is configured for use with 3ds Max and V-Ray Next. Images were rendered using V-Ray Next. Asset compatibility exists with older versions of V-Ray, but results may vary. Preview images are actual render outputs. The system unit employed is centimeters. Assets are based on real-world scale dimensions. Export formats, including collapsed meshes, are available. If additional assistance is required, contact support immediately. DISCLAIMER The asset is specifically designed for use with 3ds Max and V-Ray. All materials incorporated in the scene are V-Ray materials. Lights within the scene are V-Ray lights. It's possible that V-Ray material settings may not correctly translate to export formats. Software compatibility beyond 3ds Max with V-Ray is not supported by the artist. Rendering results obtained from usage with other software and renderers differ from intended design goals. The artist does not provide support for use with various software and renderers. GEOMETRY Model structure comprises a collapsed stack of elements. Objects within the scene are individually named and organized on layer levels. Separate layers have been established to accommodate different components, including buildings, highways, railways, and water areas. Reference the preview images to visualize the structure's organization. Note: A limited number of houses or buildings could not be included due to restrictions associated with importing data from OpenStreetMap. Preview images provide information on covered areas within the model. Not all landmarks were fully modeled; only available OSM import data has been applied to the asset. Model geometry exists solely in a two-dimensional plane and lacks any form of height data. Detailed statistics related to polycount and vertex count for trees amount to 2025759 polygons, along with 1107947 vertices. Object representations for the trees have been standardized to rectangular forms through object properties modifications. Placement occurs on V-Ray planes at coordinates (0,0,0). This plane will not be included during the export process. MATERIALS Scene configurations involve exclusive usage of V-Ray materials. A separate zip file archive holds all applicable texture maps required for rendering visual appearance of assets accurately and as intended. Models do not include unwrapped surface details due to inherent characteristics specific to OSM data; UVW Map Modifier has been applied instead to create two-dimensional projections essential for 3D scene coherence during viewing in perspective. LIGHT SETUP Rendering takes advantage of the integrated V-Ray sun system in addition to basic Sky Dome settings available within it for enhanced depth perception within an image produced by using V-ray linear work-flow. FORMAT This specific model format has only been verified with version 2017 Max while backward compatibility supports as early release, that goes from previous version all up to and including V-RAY v3 (the last at time of update) . It will remain functional through future iterations when properly applied but keep it clear there should never occur loss in image or rendering details due simply to changing software package since initial configuration took full account what can cause issues before any change from newer system occurs and thus would never break overall desired output.
