Our daughter proposed a unique idea for a bird-shaped birdhouse, which she designed and painted. I engineered it using a Replicator 2 printer with rafts to keep the sides flat for easy assembly with silicone glue. This allows for simple cleaning and reassembly post-nesting. SketchUp Pro 2013 and Autodesk 123D 3D Print Utility were used to create the model and generate efficient STL files for printing.
