Inspired by Printednest.com's design, I couldn't get their birdfeeder model to print correctly, so I created my own see-through feeder that can be hung on a window to watch birds land. It features three nail holes for hanging on walls and comes with a hook designed specifically to hold custom-made attachments. After fine-tuning, Version 1 proved too flimsy, while Version 2 significantly increased strength. A third iteration introduced adjustments to the nail holes for added stability. Gallery images showcase integrated nail holes and added functionality, such as a top handle used in conjunction with a detachable hook designed specifically for fences. The complete design comes with OpenSCAD source code allowing users to modify it as needed. With this open-ended platform, creators can tinker freely to create unique birdfeeder designs. The following steps outline my creation: This project aims for seamless print production without support material; however, printing and perfection will take further time. I look forward to sharing progress once a printable version is perfected.
