Birdhouse with a hole
thingiverse
The tiny black nest is designed to sit at a 50% scale and features a minimalist perch for its bird inhabitants that only took five minutes to design. Currently shown enlarged to 75%, the nesting box has a simple, attractive design that I'm confident will print with ease, but I struggled printing the antler perches due to excessive cleanup required afterwards. After refining the base of the antlers, I successfully attached them using a metal pin and ensured stable prints by incorporating extensive support structures. While it was time-consuming, I ultimately achieved great results with my efforts. Print Instructions: Securely fasten the perch in place with cyanoacrylate or hot glue for stability.
