Easy to assemble with multiple parts (all can be 3d printed). If you'd prefer, you can use a bolt/nut (¼" or 6mm should work, ~35mm long) for the pin at the bottom that holds the base on. Also, you could use a standard aluminum carabiner instead of the 3d printed one. In the photos, the blue version was a slightly smaller version I designed about 2 years ago. It has held up very well in Midwest US sitting out all year long, but I scaled up the design before printing the black one (with a glow in the dark funnel section). The larger version, which should easily fit on a MK3 or Ender, is the version of the files uploaded, but there shouldn't be any issues scaling up/down somewhat. If anyone wants the original Fusion3D or step files, please let me know.

Print Settings

Most of these don't need anything more than 2-3 perimeters and ~15% infill, except maybe the center rod section (I printed with 4 perimeters).

Print Orientation

Center Rod, Pin, and Carabiner should lay on their side (on a flat edge)

Funnel section should print inverted (no supports needed)

Top and base on big flat surface

Assembly

Slide “center rod” through “funnel”, aligning the holes at the bottom

Then, slide “base” onto bottom of "funnel", secure with “pin”

Fill with birdseed

Put “top” onto “funnel” assembly, then secure with carabiner

Hang/hook it up and watch out for birds!

Pin/Carabiner Attribution

The pin and carabiner were design afterthoughts, so I grabbed a couple of files from printables and scaled them properly (both licenses require attribution and allow for remixing, but realistically I just scaled them to fit).

Pin original design here, by TheRooster.

Carabiner original design here, by Breaks'n'Makes
