A vintage birdcage modeled after the 1910 Hendryx catalog would make for a unique interior design element. The model's dimensions were carefully crafted to mirror real-world proportions, ensuring an authentic look. The Quad-based geometry makes it easy to subdivide the mesh, and the Blend file already has a Subdivision modifier set up. For other export formats, two versions are provided: the original lower poly mesh and a higher poly mesh with 2 levels of subdivision applied. The mesh is a single object, but different elements are assigned to separate vertex groups for easier editing. Vertex groups are available in .blend and .dae formats, making it convenient for users. A simple rig allows for some variation in renders, and it's available for .blend, .dae, and .fbx formats. The .blend rig also features bone constraints to minimize clipping issues. The model has non-overlapping UVs, which are unwrapped and arranged for minimal stretching and even texel density. Two texture variations are provided: a clean set for a polished brass look and a grunge set for an aged brass appearance. Both texture sets are available in separate archives at 2k, 4k, and 8k resolution. The 4k texture sets are packed with .blend and .fbx files.
