Bird spikes for plastic gutters

I designed these bird spikes to stop the larger birds landing on our gutter. The main spikes are vertical (the photo was taken at an angle). The angled spikes that face in towards the roof are to stop the birds walking down the roof and pecking in the gutter. They slot over the outer edge of the plastic gutter. I first printed them in PLA as a test but they softened in the heat of the sun and became loose, so I recommend using PETG. I've used ones printed in PETG for over a year and they work well and have withstood strong winds, rain and the summer sun. The long row of spikes can be printed on a 220mm x 220mm bed. Print as many as you need for the area of gutter you want them on. The medium and short rows of spikes are used to fill the the gaps near the gutter brackets and bends where the long row can't fit They are easy to slot in place and remove (if you need to clean the gutter) as long as you can access the gutter. Please be careful leaning out of windows or climbing ladders. Don't over reach.
