Bird Snare

We have an Indian Miner bird problem that needs to be solved. After researching a pile of YouTube designs for bird snares, I discovered the tricky part is always creating a robust yet sensitive trigger mechanism. Not satisfied with anything I found so far, I decided it was time to design my own unique solution. First, tie a rubber band to the end loop and also to the loop on the trigger pin. Next, thread a string noose through the top hole and secure it to the trigger pin loop as well. Then, stretch the trigger pin into the bottom hole and hook the lugs together for added stability. Now, place a light leaf over the trigger pin to create a natural camouflage. Carefully spread the open noose over and surrounding the centre of the leaf, making sure not to obstruct the trigger mechanism. Finally, sprinkle bird seed on the leaf to attract the Indian Miner birds. Once a bird is caught by the leg, you can choose to breed it, sell it, eat it, or release it - whatever your customs and laws dictate for any given bird species.
