This essential piece plays a crucial role in assembling the bird feeder without additional support materials. As you proceed to assemble your new bird seed house, you'll find a funnel on the inside of the feeder that contains the actual feed. Furthermore, both the hat and body parts of this design feature holes specifically designed for a wire or rod, serving two main purposes - keeping the entire structure together while also allowing for easy hanging.
